Our Classes

School Terms
Term 1 2025 commences on Saturday 1 February.

The school runs on a term basis roughly aligned with NSW public school terms and you can join at any time in the term.

Our Classes
For continuity and student’s progress we encourage regular attendance. One class a week is good to start with but two is better.

Classes are small so that students receive individual attention and progress at their own rate. We work with the body but a big focus is also on the mind and breath and developing the energy centres in the body.

Which Level am I?

BEGINNERS/LEVEL 1

Suitable for students who have done a little yoga or who are new to yoga.

GENERAL LEVEL

Suitable for students who have done some yoga.

LEVEL 2

Suitable for experienced students.

IREST (INTEGRATIVE RESTORATION) MEDITATION

Suitable for all students. Based on the ancient teaching of Yoga Nidra, iRest meditation is an evidence based transformative practice that leads to a greater sense of well being. Teacher: Clarissa Hughes.

YOGA THERAPY

Suitable for anyone who has an injury, is experiencing pain, discomfort or recovering from illness. Times by appointment.

Casual Classes
New comers to the school can try out up to 3 classes at a casual rate of $15 per class before they decide if they want to purchase a class pass. Thereafter casual classes are $20 per class.

Debbie is a patient and skilled teacher. I feel like she is interested in me and is providing the support and guidance I need to build confidence and strength. I look forward to going to each class and am surprised to find myself really interested in all the exercises and poses and what my body is doing.

I love the attention to alignment of the body. I am learning how to use the props and finding that poses I’ve been doing for years are now feeling entirely different with that support and more awareness and understanding.
